I created this blog to share my hair experiences with others and my family in the West Indies (Grenada and Trinidad). Its been almost three years and I'm loving my natural hair. I've had some ups and downs but it's all a part of the process! (Please do not copy my photos without my permission, but feel free to link to my blog)

I have had my locks for 3.5 years and I am still looking for a good shampoo that really cleans and conditions the locks. If you find something, let me know. Someone suggested the IC products but I have not tried them yet.
The Aveda Sap Moss shampoo worked pretty well. I didn't see the same white clumps on my roots after washing this time. I may have stumbled on to something new!
Well, I'm a big fan of vinegar myslef. It's cheap, effective, and works like a charm. It is excellent for removing product buildup and dandruff/flakiness/anything else that may get stuck in your hair. I used to use it as a final rinse, but my boyfriend balked at the smell. So, now I spray it in for about half an hour before I wash my hair. I put a plastic cap on it and rinse it out when i get in the shower. I use a 50/50 vinegar water solution.
Try it and let me know how it goes1!
oooh i like that headband!
